Buster Out July 8th
- Recorded over the pandemic in keyboardist Matan’s basement, Buster discusses what it is like to be human, to be wavering between uncertainty and confidence in oneself, between reaching out to loved ones and cocooning in. Buster teeters on these dichotomies, and ultimately advocates for love. The culmination of voices and instruments at the end combined with the powerfully raw lyrics “I don't wanna die, but I don’t wanna be here anymore”, present a hopeful message, showing that you can get through this, all you have to do is be.

About the Band
People in General is a 5-8 piece Jazz-Pop band from Fort Collins, Colorado. The band fuses elements of Math-Rock, Bedroom Pop, Jazz, and Indie to deliver fun and high energy live performances. Fronted by songwriter Ben Eberle, the lineup includes keyboardist Matan Birnbaum, drummer Ethan Christi, bassist Elan Ramirez, guitarist JJ Maestes and trombonist Hays Bruce. They are occasionally joined by singers Geneva Hein and Annalee Knies. Since forming in January 2019, the ensemble, endearingly known as ‘PiG’ by fans, has amassed an enthusiastic group of dedicated followers through their messaging of positivity and community building.
The onset of COVID-19 and the cancellation of shows forced bands off the stage and out of the studio. People In General found a way around the hardships by collaborating and producing albums in Matan’s basement.
